I am definitely of the MTV generation, but watching tonight, I feel really old. The VMA’s [Video Music Awards, for those who don't know] used to be cool, the thing to watch. Now I’m looking like, “Who are these people? I’ve never heard this song.” And I can’t figure out if by getting older I’ve become un-cool, or if the new generation is just really unoriginal and corny. And since when has it not been PG-13? Who the hell is Russell Brand? And how can Lil’ Weezy walk with his pants down like that? I want to see Kanye end the show, but I’m tired. There used to be a day when I would stay up to watch this, but with the west coast delay, that day has past.
